Precast Communications is a part of
Oldcastle Precast, Inc., the
leading US producer of precast concrete products. We have over
75 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada.
Products include precast concrete vaults and structures,
concrete pipe, pre-stressed plank, and modular building systems.
The
Communications Group has four dedicated shelter manufacturing
locations (Avon, Connecticut; Newnan, Georgia; Hartford City,
IN; and Chandler, Arizona). We are focused on providing the
broadest shelter and vault product line possible to meet all
your enclosure needs. Our customer base includes RBOCs,
Wireless, Cable, Utility, Government, and many other users of
prefabricated concrete products. Oldcastle Precast
Communications has been supplying these customers since the
1950`s. Our experience is unequaled in the industry.

WE HAVE
LED THE INDUSTRY IN MANY AREAS:

Initially, we worked with Western Electric on the
first controlled environment structures.
- We
pioneered the monolithic shelter for all our markets.

Further, Oldcastle Precast developed the modular 700 to
5,000 square foot Maxi-Mod that can be installed on
your site in just a few days.
- For
our RBOC and wireless customers, we developed the below
ground controlled environment vault (CEV) that satisfies
the out-of-site, out-of-mind criteria. They get service
to their customers more quickly, with fewer permitting
issues.

The bullet resistance of our concrete shelters is
equal to UL-752, Level 4, and we offer a 2 hour fire
rating.
- We
offer numerous exterior finishes such as exposed
aggregate, painted chamfer, stucco, and stenciled brick,
block or siding.

is designed for rapid installation and deployment; usually in
one day. They provide you with attractive, long-term, secure
service. Furthermore, we supply spacious customized interiors
that can accommodate all of your current and future network
equipment needs.
Besides the
products, there is more that Oldcastle Precast can do for you. Our
Oldcastle Precast Services group offers you
complete turnkey site installation to
include obtaining property, permitting, foundations, electrical
and grounding, equipment integration, and site improvements. If
you already have a facility, they are very experienced in making
tenant improvements for power, HVAC, grounding, etc.
